The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. Experience working with a federal contractor is important.
Position may be located in Colorado Springs, CO or Fairfax, VA
Key Role Responsibilities
Processes, verifies and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities.
Records data for each employee and/or applicant such as: address, pay, performance, location, benefits, etc. Gathers, organizes, and files personnel records.
Creates, maintains and updates various databases for tracking and reporting purposes.
Responds to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures.
Processes employment applications and helps generate appropriate correspondence to applicants.
Participates in project phase in/onboarding events to include job fairs and employee town hall meetings.
Manages candidate/applicant process using ADP applicant tracking system
Facilitates onboarding process for new employees to include all pre-employment steps, hiring-related paperwork and notifications to relevant departments
Coordinates interviews with candidates
HR Technology- understand and provide guidance on requirements for assigned areas, troubleshoot, embrace, understand and fully use.
Assist in administering leave administration
Required Travel to project sites – 15-20%

Thorough knowledge of HR processes
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
Knowledge of ADP HRIS or similar system
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
1-3 years of HR experience (Federal Contracting experience preferred)
In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered
