RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

Coordinate all communication and social media platforms

Track/manage engagement results/analytics

Provide administrative and technical assistance to senior staff members

Copywriting/editing (AP) content, design/layout

Coordinate promotional activity

Maintain web pages and social apps

Develop & manage online community

Report creation

Project management



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or related major

Previous experience with blogging, school newspaper articles, social media

Background in Association or Not-for-Profit organization preferred

Outstanding interpersonal, oral, written (WRITE, EDIT, PROOFREAD - AP STYLE) acumen

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced proficiency: MS Office SuiteAdobe Creative Suite, TeamSite, Drupal, or other Content Management system, membership database, Google Analytics
Ability to prioritize and stay focused within a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and high level of initiative
Knowledge of web/graphics - CSS, posting content to social media
Project/timeline management skills
Creative and self-motivated with strong customer service focus
Ability to work independently and as contributing member of team
