The amazing prepared foods in our deli/seafood departments set us apart from the pack. We’re looking for a hard-working individual with high standards for food, safety and teamwork to join us in this management job. Responsibilities will include: • Overseeing all areas of the Hot Zone Department, including slicers, grills, meat room, smoker and kitchen • Monitoring ingredients, recipes and the cooking process to meet quality specifications and standards • Maintaining coolers and freezers for proper rotation, inventory levels and cleanliness • Helping to supervise, train and schedule production employees while setting a great example of going above and beyond • Operating the department in the absence of the Food Production Manager

What you need to succeed • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience, with a proactive personality and self-directed mindset • Leadership skills to delegate tasks, train and develop associates, and build a strong and cooperative team • Ability to manage multiple personalities and resolve conflicts, while coaching, counseling and administering corrective action when necessary • Strong knowledge of food safety and proper handling standards; ServSafe certification preferred • Ability to operate equipment, lift up to 50 pounds, work in coolers, freezers and hot humid areas, and be on your feet and mobile throughout the day • Willingness be a team player and assist in any area of the kitchen as needed
