The Communications Project Leader will lead the day-to-day planning and execution of communication to Galleries, Outlets, Customer Delight (service) Centers, and Home Delivery Centers. As part of the Optimization Team this leader plays an important role as an advocate for the field and a conduit of information between the field and Home Office. The Communications Leader is responsible for creating communication and educational materials that support an elevated client experience and excellent execution of all company initiatives. The ideal candidate has a passion for written and verbal communication as well as extensive writing experience. They possess natural leadership skills, are innovative, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and enjoy a "startup" environment. This leader will work within a highly functioning team and must be self-motivated. They have the desire and ability to navigate through multiple competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that changes day to day. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Live and breathe Our Values and Beliefs. - Establish and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional partners and vendors while achieving desired results. - Proactively develop and maintain a comprehensive plan for all communication. - Ensure all communication is accurate, intuitive, timely, and complete. - Develop communication with the appropriate scope and tone for the audience. - Compose, edit, and publish all communication. - Editor for the Optimization Team. - Design and develop selling & service tools and educational materials to support positive customer interactions. Support in the development and delivery of onboarding, and continuous training materials. - Manage content of the intranet site including the field Google calendar. - Lead and/or support additional projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS - Proven oral and written communication and graphic presentation skills. - Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills including the ability to make difficult decisions. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. - Strong ability to recognize and respond to multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. - Ability to proactively identify opportunities or challenges within the scope of team/role and find solutions. - Strong interpersonal skills. Works well independently and collaboratively. - Strong project management skills with the ability to influence others to achieve desired results and meet all deadlines. - Creative thinker with a proven ability to analyze data and problem solve. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Proficiency in Mac Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Google Applications, Photoshop, InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus. - Experience with online forms, surveys, blogs, and email marketing experience a plus. EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of experience in communications, operations, marketing, journalism, or similar. - 3+ years of luxury retail leadership experience or experience in a customer-facing role a plus. EDUCATION - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. FOREIGN LANGUAGES - Multilingual speaking and writing skills desired. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Driver’s license preferred. - Ability to travel locally or out of state.
