Ellwood National Forge Company (ENF) has an immediate opening for a Press Scheduler inCorry, PA, however from time to time maybe assigned to the Irvine or Warren Plants. This position is non-exempt salary (overtime for over 40 hours/week) and will report to the Production Supervisor. Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
➢ Track raw material, whether it be billets or ingots on or off site and contact sender to verify location.
➢ Coordinate and communicate with Heat Treat on what is received from the press on a day to day basis.
➢ Deliver route to appropriate department after jobs are complete
➢ Verify press operations are signed out in Syteline.
➢ Receive raw material into inventory, create jobs, update press operation with furnace temperature, heat
up cycle and forging instruction in Syteline.
➢ Utilizing Syteline for job material transactions, print job packet, assign customer order number and line
➢ Fill out the daily heat up schedule per grade including soak forge times.
➢ Create and complete charge sheet for press crews.
➢ Calculate forge reductions/forge sketches.
➢ Provide press crews with breakdown and/or tool-in instructions for jobs.
➢ Stage material for charges.
➢ POC conversion work operations and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
➢ Fills in for the Forge Crew when necessary.
➢ Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations
and work rules;
➢ Must have ability and desire to work well with others;
➢ Meets attendance requirements; and
➢ As well as any other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time to support the business
➢ High School Diploma/GED
➢ Math skills
➢ Knowledge of all press operations
➢ Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Syteline)
➢ Strong Verbal and written communication skills (personal, telephone and electronic)
➢ Self-motivated with a results driven work ethic and strong desire to succeed
➢ Must be well organized and detail oriented
