Opening with our healthcare client for a Technical Assistance Operations / IT Project Manager to lead and manager large-scale, complex, strategic projects for clients in the federal healthcare space

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related area with at least 3 years’ experience as providing strategic leadership to teams and leading quality improvement projects within a healthcare operations and technology space.

Essential Functions

  • Gain understanding all contractual Technical Assistance obligations for projects assigned
  • Lead teams providing direct Technical Assistance support to clients, partners, members
  • Provide onsite and virtual consultation for clients, partners members 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for projects assigned to assure project milestones and goals are achieved
  • Understands goals, expectations, resources and opportunities for program stakeholders in order to create customized, actionable action plans
  • Communicate program milestones, tasks and timelines to internal and external stakeholders
  • Research, document and share evidence-based best practices, tools and resources to be used across the Technical Assistance workstream
  • Develop and execute performance improvement plans, initiatives and measurement strategies
  • Participate in project review meetings to ensure successful delivery of all project activities


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health or other healthcare-related field
  • 3 or more years of experience leading quality improvement activities, developing performance improvement programs to execute change and facilitate cross-functional teams within the healthcare industry, managed care, or health plan operations
  • Proven ability to drive engagement at the board, administrative and department leader levels within an organization
  • Licensure/certification - RN, CPHQ, CPPS, ASQ, High Reliability, Just Culture, TeamSTEPPS
  • Experience with Lean and/or Performance Improvement methods
  • Familiar with multiple process and quality improvement strategies and tools
  • Assessment and data analytics expertise to evaluate results of programs
