This position reports to a Supervisor in the Claim Services department.  The department provides critical operations support to Claim Examiners within the Western Claim Service Center.  The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:  
  • Responsible for assigning new claims/losses to the Claim examiner within a specified line of business according to established guidelines (Auto, Casualty, Property & Total Loss)
  • Ensure equity of work/task volume is distributed to meet the day-to-day service needs
  • Manage and coordinate the processing affiliated with Mitchell, Audatex & Various vendor requests
  • Complete the transfer/split/shared files requests within the line of business established guidelines
  • Process all special requests forwarded by examiners/supervisors within our established service level and goals
  • Process all financial transactions within 24 hours of receipt (reserves, payments, stop pay, voids, transfers, authority and salvage/subrogation receipts)
Leadership /Communication:
•    Communicate and collaborate effectively with Supervisor, claim coordinator and team members to ensure the level of service meets or exceeds customer expectations
•    Demonstrate leadership characteristics when teaching and mentoring others in the area of workflow and process
•    In the absence of the Manager, Claims Services Supervisor and or Claim Coordinate serve as a point of contact, subject matter expert and be able to escalate service needs by notifying another member of the management team
•    Proven ability to process assigned Claim Services functions and Service Level targets
•    Assist with and or participant on assigned projects assigned by Manager and or Supervisor
•   Support an environment of continuous improvement by offering ideas and suggestions to improve workflows and service
•   Recognize possible system issues and escalate as necessary to Claims Help, Team Coordinator, Supervisors and or Managers
•   Develop working knowledge of other Claim Services and Claim Operations areas
•   Demonstrate technical proficiency and knowledge of the claims and financial systems
•   Take individual ownership of customer issues and requests



Process & Manage Financial Reports & Workgroups:
•     5/9/12 month report
•     Duplicate payment report
•     Canadian payment & unknown report
•     System correct process
•     Pending database report
•     Past due reports i.e. vendor expenses
•     CFS error log
•     POLUP workgroup
•     Claim Operations Archive workgroup
 
Manage and drive service in support of multiple vendor and providers:
  • Metropolitan Reporting, Logan, Audatex (Roadside Assistance)
  • Mitchell, Enservio, Snapsheet, Code Blue,
  • Enterprise Rent A Car,
  • ISO and its affiliates, NMVTIS, PILR, ISO
Develop knowledge of key business support areas:
Auto/ Casualty/Property/Branch Services
Mailscan Function
Mailroom Functions
Claim check processing
Specialty Functions
Ability to lead and deliver CA training
Maintain all necessary databases/logs for Claim Services Assist Call Center Phones and/or Faxes as required
Cat Assistance - Coverage, Reserve, Payments, Letters
Assist with coordinating special projects following all established deadlines
