Description
To coordinate all RTC distribution and allocation plans for International and Domestic customers for Measurement products to maximize service level, minimize overdue backlog, while supporting sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Monitors and administers factory allocation to plan for International and Domestic Measurement Division products. Monitors the International and Domestic order backlog, bookings, and shipments to production plan. Notifies respective subsidiary or customer group when backlog is not consistent with allocation plans. Analyzes end customer bookings and alerts subs when reforecasts are necessary. Assures product mix deviations between customer groups are adjusted before impacting total plan. Provides input to Product Management regarding proposed changes to current allocation. Establishes new fiscal year allocations/forecasts.
    Monitors and publishes subsidiary end customer backlog, bookings and shipments to assure that optimal inventory levels are realized.
    Coordinates and creates new product distribution plans, with various product line managers. Coordinates factory returns, product recalls and part number change notifications
  2. Assures lead time is established and maintained for all Measurement products based upon guidelines established by the division. Approves any special delivery needs for Domestic and International Interfaces with Master Scheduling, Shop Ordering and P&IC personnel to coordinate and determine material availability. Monitors service level for all business segments to assure that acknowledged versus requested levels are maximized
  3. Prioritizes all end items and designated piece parts prior to shop order horizon. Processes early shop order requests for non ship ordered backlog. Adjusts allocations to support master schedule in order to avoid mix problems. Continuously controls balancing customer. Requirements versus manufacturing capacity within material supply availability. Informs Backlog Coordinator or Master Scheduling of significant changes to quantity mix or ordering levels. Reviews impact of spare parts required for subassemblies and components vs. finals
  4. Interfaces with Product Marketing and attends planning meetings to develop International and Domestic unit allocations by product group for Measurement products. Collects historical data and makes recommendations for distribution plans to Product Managers. Monitors actual performance against allocations. Communicates any significant deviations to plan to Product Manager and appropriate Contracts personnel.
