Job Information

As a cyber security operations analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert for endpoint based security. You will be involved in operation and engineering activities during the full product implementation lifecycle - from strategy and inception through sustainment. You will interact with the customer and ensure that the company's capabilities are integrated into new and existing systems while maintaining the customer's system guidelines and technical architecture. You'll develop operational workflows and dashboards for use in an investigative or incident response environment.

What You must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Security and Technical Certifications: CISSP, ITIL v3, CCNA, Cisco UCS & Data Center
  • Required: At least 5-8 years of relevant experience with the following:
    • McAfee: ePolicy Orchestrator, ENS protection, Data Loss Prevention, Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems, Virus Scan Enterprise, MOVE, and Nitro or a combination of the above.
  • Practical experience in a large-scale environment performing incident analysis, security operations and malware remediation.
  • Direct experience in intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), log analysis, malware analysis, and network traffic flow and packet analysis.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols in Windows and Linux Platforms
  • Understanding of SIEM, log correlation and network behavior anomaly detection systems (Nitro, Splunk, etc.).
  • Understanding of system hardening and secure configuration frameworks
  • Drives problem resolution and sets priorities based on operational impacts to security systems and business impact.
  • Works closely with engineering teams during planning, design, and deployment to analyze application performance impact and troubleshoot issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Participates in rotating on-call support. Responsible for resolution of service outages and other service problems during an on-call period.
  • Knowledge of basic ITIL framework and processes
