This position is accountable for the rework of parts required for the overhaul of turbines engines and related equipment through the remanufacturing process utilizing engineering instructions in order to produce quality parts with maximum yield.
Performs rework or paint activities of moderate complexity within a designated area.
•High school education or equivalent
•Job stability (no gaps >6 months and duration >2 years)
•Mechanical experience (2+ years)
•Ability to operate shop equipment and basic hand tools (2+ years)
•Basic computer skills (1 year)
•Ability to work within hearing conservation areas
•Proficient with 90% of the basic precision measurement equipment
•A&P License with experience on turbine engines
•Advanced computer skills (1 year)
•Associate degree is preferred to enhance promotability
This position does not qualify for relocation.
