Responsibilities

  • Build industry-changing applications for the third party logistics industry
  • Develop user stories, wireframes, and mockups
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Eager to learn about new technologies and products
  • Be the user's voice and drive design interaction of key customer facing products
  • Design the creatives/visual design for the desired experiences
  • Work closely with Product Managers, QA and Software Engineers
  • Build efficient and reusable design components and creatives
  • Interact with other team members to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
  • Identify and foster best practices for user experience design in web, desktop and reporting interfaces

Your Qualifications

  • 6+ years of design experience in a web environment
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Highly proficient with Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience in one of the following design communication tools such as OmniGraffle, Axure, or iRise
  • Direct experience with Agile/Scrum software development practices
  • Aptitude with software development beyond the look and feel 
  • Experience with web and mobile user interfaces
  • Has a portfolio of web-based designs
  • Care deeply about user experience, usability, and high-quality software applications
  • Have an artistic flare and is passionate about simplifying human-to-computer interactions
  • Understand and participate in the requirements gathering process
  • Smart, driven problem solver who characterizes themselves as a ‘lifelong’ learner
  • Can communicate with peers and business users

Bonus Points

  • Have worked in a startup environment
  • Worked on projects managed through SCRUM or Agile methodology
  • Enjoy travel
