Aftermarket Supply Chain Procurement is seeking an experienced commodity manager(s) to lead the global sourcing strategy for the PW requirements in the Aftermarket network. This role will require an experienced, results driven individual to lead procurement activity including coordinating, supporting, and leading team sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and partner relationships for Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Supply Chain.
The candidate may be responsible for all aspects of sourcing with regard to repair-related services, engine support tooling and indirect spend with Brokers/Serviceable material requirements for the overall network. The selected candidate will be developing and executing sourcing activities with standard work, working collaboratively with the network, and to source best value for the all Pratt & Whitney facilities. This position will lead negotiations, contract execution, and vendor management for all assigned commodities.
Basic Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of related experience in positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of supply chain management, finance, business strategy, or operations. Additionally, candidate should have business acumen and the ability to lead cross-organizational teams. Experience or a proven record of working with ACE or similar with measuring performance by use of Quality Management tools and metrics will be a plus. The candidate will also be relied upon to develop and manage key supplier performance by use of Key Performing Indicators (KPIs) and Quarterly Supplier Reviews. Experience with strategic sourcing and procurement leadership with a proven track record of negotiations and contract/LTA development/execution will be necessary.
The following skills/experience are desired Qualifications:
- Familiar with all PW engines, tooling, repairs, material, and logistics
- Procurement, operations or manufacturing experience and process knowledge
- SAP experience with specific focus on purchasing-related document flow
- Accomplishment-based experience with multi organizational teams with business culture diversity
- Supply Chain Contract Administration and strategic sourcing experience
- Good judgment and strong critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, effective self-starter
- Working knowledge in SAP preferred
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (Green Card) is required
Education Bachelor's Degree, with preference to Business Administration or related discipline is preferred. An MBA or a Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management/Administration or Finance is suggested.
