POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision assure that components, assemblies and/or final product conform to all process documentation and regulatory requirements. The job is performed in a class 7 cleanroom.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect components and/or assemblies for conformance to procedures and specifications.

  • Comply with company's policy and procedures on maintenance personnel hygiene and CEA cleanliness to ensure product safety.

  • Check product records and traceability information for accuracy and completion.

  • Must maintain a high level of cooperation and positive interaction with team members and peers.

  • Provide feedback to area supervision regarding quality results on a regular basis.

  • Follow company/department policies and guidelines.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to complete certification course(s)

  • Very good manual dexterity skills.

  • Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, specifications, correspondence and memos.

  • Quality oriented and understanding of GMP / ISO.

  • Well organized, detail oriented and efficient.

  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to be objective and decisive.

  • Follow Environmental Health and Safety guidelines

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    High School diploma or GED

    REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

    1+ year of manufacturing experience

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Quality Assurance / Control experience for manufacturing production in a medical device company.
