As an HR Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and communicating information related to HR Operations processes. You will focus on Workday Staffing transactions and processes and can include other HR processes as needed. This includes providing a high-level of customer service to HR staff and managers, updating work documentation, completing data audits and designing efficient, effective processes.

A Day in the Life:

  • Consults on data entry of complex employee information into various Medtronic systems on an accurate and timely basis. Support may include areas such as Staffing, Contingent, Organizations, Global Mobility and other HR Operations areas as appropriate.

  • Runs and analyzes team metrics via Workday and ServiceNow

  • Provides skilled technical support, which may include data coordination, data analysis, tracking and data governance

  • Receives escalated complex problems and issues from team that cannot be resolved with the standard work processes and information.

  • Identifies process issues and makes recommendations for process improvements; leads process improvement initiatives.

    Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years of work experience within an HR function

  • Project Experience

    Nice to Have:

  • Medtronic HR experience and process knowledge desired

  • Competent in working on cross-functional projects

  • Research and data analysis experience

  • Competent in Project Management

  • Experience in Workday, PeopleSoft and/or ServiceNow

  • Highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

  • Competent in written and oral communication. Competent making presentations, giving status updates and facilitating cross-functional and cross-site meetings.
