As a CVG Field Sales HR Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for centrally managing all HR operational activities for the CVG Field Sales organization. This position requires a wide breadth of knowledge and specific expertise about Medtronic processes & systems and will work to streamline processes and solve complex problems and issues.

A Day in the Life:

  • Handle or involve the appropriate parties in daily requests from HR Business Partners within the CVG Field Sales organization

  • Act as the Project Manager for several major HR processes for the CVG Field including but not limited to promotions, manager/employee tools (calendars, directors, org charts, toolkit, quick guides, etc.), and Workday Champion which require interaction with the CVG Field Leadership team

  • Provide HR training and direction to Field Coordinators, Regional Service Coordinators, and Administrative Professionals on Workday, the promotion process, and other processes as needed

  • Identify process improvement & role clarification opportunities and make recommendations with the appropriate parties; Works closely with other HR Operations teams to simplify and standardize processes

  • Solve other problems of moderate scope with little supervision

    Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years of work experience within an HR function

  • Project Experience

    Nice to Have:

  • Medtronic HR experience and process knowledge desired

  • Competent in working on cross-functional projects.

  • Research and data analysis experience

  • Competent in Project Management

  • Ability to co-manage a team of individuals and drive a project to successful completion.

  • Highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

  • Competent in written and oral communication. Competent making presentations, giving status updates and facilitating cross-functional and cross-site meetings.
