The allocator will have the responsibility to oversee Simplicity manpower. Must have ability to work under pressure, change allocated Ramp Crews as required. Responsible for overseeing all personnel, take accountability for safety, resource management, operation standards, communicate directly with Airline Customers. Manage daily, hourly and real time plan for Ramp Operations. This included working in the SOC environment alongside Frontier Airlines management.

  • Manage the ramp manpower on a daily, hourly and real time basis.
  • Obtain inbound and outbound flight information from F9 through the MARS and SSD system.
  • Update MARS/RSMS system with correct flight information for tail swaps and gate changes. Report any changes to ramp personnel.
  • Become direct point of contact to provide real time operational information for Ramp Teams, Shift Managers, Planning Manager, Ramp Manager and Station Director.
  • Record unmet and departure delay information and email to appropriate management personnell when requested.
  • Ensure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Simplicity USA Health & Safety regulations and according to aviation standards.
  • Monitor assigned radio channel to communicate with the ramp.
  • Monitor performance, taking action to correct any shortfalls.
  • Liaises with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials and other airport stakeholders.
  • Take phone calls, including sick/late calls, requested emergency reponse.
  • Record all sick/late calls on call log and email appropriate management staff.
  • Record all agents staying past 12 hours in the 12 Hour Log.
  • Prepares list for Return to Work interviews.
  • Notify the People Department of repeating attendance patterns.
  • Record all approvals to start early or stay late in exception log.
  • Work shifts as required by the operation.
  • View video recordings and investigate for any assigned delays to Simplicity.
  • Report any significant deficiency in our operations directly to Planning Manager, Shift Manager or Station Director.
  • Communicate and coordinate with ramp personell for all STAR flights, RON's, and any flights that require a security sweep.
  • Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practice especially those relating to safety and security.
  • Other tasks assigned by Planning/Attendance Manager.
  • Comfortable and continuously lift/move 70 lbs baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals.
  • Frequent beding, strecthing push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locations.
  • Operate motorized equipment.
  • Record sick calls or no call/no shows in RosterApps.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balanced loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests and baggage routing tags.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
    • Valid US driver's license with good driving record.
    • Must be available and flexible to work variable shift including weekends and holidays.
    • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
    • Must pass a drug test.
    • Must pass pre-employment medical.
    • Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal.
    • Prior ramp experience a plus.
    • Must be computer literate.
