Director of Cloud Technology

Lead the development efforts for custom cloud applications in support of OnePoint HCM's business needs. Develop processes and procedures in conjunction with the other departments to maintain quality and efficiencies. Establish a change management architecture which will serve to categorize and minimize the risk associated with changes that may have a negative impact on business. Conducts interviews and makes recommendations for new IT hires, consultants and/or replacement personnel. Assist with determining financial objectives by forecasting requirements which will lead to the preparation of an annual Information Technology budget. Budget to include scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action. Acts as the Administrator of cloud applications including, but not limited to,,, Google Apps, Phone Systems, etc. Lead the Development efforts for External and Internal API and Import/Export integrations with OnePoint HCM, and other database applications. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Maintain cloud technology security, and best practices. Identifies opportunity for efficiencies by creating automations and integrations, eliminating manual paper, e-mail, and spreadsheet based processes. Supports desktop computers and users, including network attached devices such as printers, routers, and firewalls. Maintains vendor relationships, including licensing and maintenance of licensed products. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with all company departments and client platforms. Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and support staff in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting. Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Enforces company policy for technology use by establishing and enforcing organization standards in conjunction with department managers. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending software designer's meetings; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing technological tasks as needed.
