The TRACS Technician is responsible for the safety, efficiency, and completion of any day-to-day warehouse tasks. This includes mount/dismount area, shipping/receiving, paint/wheel reconditioning, as well as, organization of stock and customer retread area tires.Duties and Responsibilities* Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires, utilizing the mount/dismount machine, T45A Tire Iron/Spoon Bar, and or the Golden Tool.* Accurately load and unload all tire shipments and assist with completion of paperwork.* Assist with the efficiency and flow of warehouse inventory.* Assist with all monthly inventory audits.* Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.* Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as, properly tag clients tires and wheels.* Properly and safely sandblast, powder coat paint, and cure customer wheels.* Assist with the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.* Assist with reconditioned wheel shipments that are outbound to Snider locations.* Assist with counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.* May be required to assist route driver with customer pickups and deliveries.* Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.* Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.* Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.* Adheres to all policies, procedures and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.QualificationsEducation or Experience:* High School Diploma or GED.* Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus.Certificates and Licenses:* Forklift certification, obtained after employment.* Commercial TIA certification preferred.Skills and Abilities:*
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.* Safety conscious at all times.* Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.* Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mecahnical aptitude.* Must have strong time management skills, as well as, close attention to detail.* Reliable and dependable with self-initiative.* Ability to complete all tasks assigned, properly, with little to no follow-up.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.* Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.* Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.* Ability to work a rotating, on call schedule to include nights and weekend shifts.* Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.* Basic computer and or smart phone skills.
