Position Highlights:* Position: Clinical Coordinator* Location: 4 Louis (Med/Surg), Evanston Hospital* Full Time/Part Time: Full-time, 40 hours per week* Hours: 3:00PM-11:30PM* Required Travel: N/AWhat you will need:* License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.* Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred* Certification: BLS/CPR certification required* Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred* Skills: N/AWhat you will do:* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience* Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput* Would assume direct patient care if necessary* Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)* Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge* Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills* Takes lead on clinical performance managementNorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is an integrated healthcare delivery system consistently ranked as a Top 15 Teaching Hospital in the U.S. The NorthShore system, headquartered in Evanston, Ill., includes five hospitals - Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Skokie and Swedish.
