Job Description

The Assembler position in ACS Airfoilsincludes operations inthe de-burr, laser marking, air flow, parts washing, pinning, braze loadingand poke tacking processes. The assembler will be required to hand finish machined surfaces to close tolerances that involve varied contours, holes, radii, angles and flanges. Assemblers will use pneumatic hand de-burring tools,buffing wheels, manual press, hammers and punches,and various other hand tools. The Airfoils value stream supplies high volumes of components that support Turbine Assembly and Customer Service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Must be able to don and use all of the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools
  • Must be able to read and follow, written, as well as, verbal work instructions
  • Data entry in production collecting and quality control programs is required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
