The GTF Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Operations & Industrial Management is chartered to ramp-up global engine overhaul and repair capability and capacity. Accelerating the expansion of repair suppliers, repair supplier readiness and capacity is a critical activity to support this initiative.

For GTF MRO, we are looking to expand the core team of Project Managers who are responsible for repair readiness and capacity management. The team supports repair providers to design and execute optimal production readiness plans. Leveraging / sharing / implementing best practices across P&W, partner sites and suppliers will be a key objective.

GTF Component Repair Industrialization Project Manager is chartered to ramp-up global repair capability while optimizing repair provider network to reduce costs and improve overall performance in support of engine overhaul commitments.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • PW focal point for GTF MRO partners and external suppliers to ensure production readiness across programs
    • Support repair development prioritization and qualification
    • Alignment with GSE on tech data development
    • Coordinate capacity across MRO network
    • Develop and monitor aggressive timelines
    • Support special requests from MRO Engine Centers
  • Establish component repair priorities
  • Drive production ramp up and ensure required capacity meets forecast needs
  • Maintain key understanding of GTF part family support requirements
  • Support Industrial management of MRO Repair Facilities, leveraging lean methodologies
  • Ensure appropriate processes are in place to manage scope of work
    • Develop standard work, process maps and health monitoring
  • Ensure best practices are shared across MRO Repair Facilities
  • Support overall component repair industrialization strategy
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline required with applicable experience preferred.
