In this exciting role you will be r responsible for managing Cash application EMEA and NA Departments (with a team of 44 people with 4 Supervisors directly reporting to this role

A Day in the Life

  • We all play an important role to support the Mission in Medtronic and we need the best colleague on board to help us achieving the Mission.

  • You will be leading, training and coaching Cash application Supervisors

  • You will work with existing teams to initiate, qualify and design opportunities, that bring value to internal clients and whole company

  • You will help design final solution for specific needs, engage with client counterparts to define appropriate design for designated processes

  • You will be responsible for the transition those opportunities per Medtronic transition methodology, policies and standards

  • You will personally develop and sustain client executive relationships through personal meetings, presentations, business networking and/or other business or social gatherings

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Business-related field

  • Experience in Cash application/AR

  • People leadership experience in Shared Service environment

  • Excellent communication skills, strong customer relationships, leadership skills and team building competencies

  • Proven experience pursuing tasks with energy, drive and follow through, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks

  • Understanding requirements of managing the performance & resources of a functional team.

  • Ability to analyze needs through soliciting, evaluating & acting upon feedback.

  • Willing to tackle the unknown & seek out collaboration from peers and co-workers.

  • Adaptable with an ability to change direction and priorities if required

  • Enthusiastic, persistent, and persuasive

  • Excellent attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles are required

  • Experience with SAP and FSCM, is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel
