Product Manager, Pulse Oximetry


The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.

PATIENT MONITORING AND RECOVERY focuses on improving outcomes associated with respiratory compromise, deep vein thrombosis, nutritional insufficiency, and healthcare associated infections.


The US Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the Nellcor Pulse Oximetry business. This position will have responsibility for guiding strategy and direction for the US Nellcor Pulse Oximetry through business and market analysis. You will also be leading day to day customer and field sales needs, launching new products, managing the quality process, maintaining a demand forecast, as well as managing the supply chain.


  • Works with sales team to implement and maintain a pricing strategy in line with margin targets.

  • Owns, in partnership with the Nellcor Marketing Manager, the development , and execution of the Nellcor marketing plan Customer focus & market knowledge

  • Customer focus- Maintain continual contact with customers in the U.S. region to keep abreast of changing customer needs as well as manage customer complaints

  • Keeps abreast of key market drivers, trends and changes in the competitive landscape

  • Works with sales and sales management to ensure tactics and programs can be and are executed effectively New product support

  • Develop US forecast and execute launch plan in conjunction with Global marketing for new product launch

  • Ensure supply chain readiness for new product launch Supply chain
  • Works with sales and Global marketing to adequately meet customer demand in a timely manner. Directly responsible for US demand planning. Sales channel support

  • Responsible for developing, implementing and maintenance of sales promotions and quoting tools

  • Responsible for coordinating customer communication and field visits as needed

  • Responsible for asset management in conjunction with sales operations P&L responsibility

  • Responsible for knowledge and management of pulse oximetry P&L DEPARTMENT



    Bachelors degree, MBA preferred


    5+ years of successful marketing within the medical device markets

    D emonstrated strong customer relationships

    Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

    1. Strong strategic, analytical, and technical skills

    2. Ability to understand common scientific literature, financial reports and legal documents

    3. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills

    4. Ability to work well in a cross-functional team, listen effectively to others

    5. Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects, with good organizational skills

    WORKING CONDITIONS: Office working conditions 15% travel within the US
