Play and important part in the Physician Relations Team within the largest Medtronic Business - Cardiac Rhythm & Heart Failure. The primary focus will be administrative excellence by providing high quality, proactive support to enhance the smooth operation and efficient functioning of the Professional Relations and Customer Insight Director and her team. This is a great role if you enjoy interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders. This is a fast paced team and requires someone that is detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.

A Day in the Life

  • Serve as a key contact point for businesses and geographies, other Medtronic departments and external entities

  • Interacts with peers, senior and middle management, vendors, clients, and customers on a frequent basis.

  • Coordination of complex travel plans, Visas, passports often across international time zones and multiple currencies when preparing expense reports

  • Works closely with the Customer Engagement Center team to produce reports, help to schedule, manage dietary needs for customer visits and arrange ground transportation.

  • Meeting planning including conference calls with multiple parties globally, including effective coordination of audio conferences, video conferences, training sessions and other meetings including scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, catering when appropriate, set-up, minutes, and starting the meeting etc.

  • Types and proofreads correspondence, reports, and forms; corrects grammar and formatting errors; drafts brief correspondence of a routine nature; and occasionally assists with putting presentations into final format.

  • Support efforts in establishing standard operating procedure for assigned projects.

  • Conducts or participates in special projects as needed

  • Apply knowledge of business and department objectives and priorities

  • Attends team meetings, taking notes on discussion points and action items-ensuring proper follow through

  • Expense management and reporting as needed

  • Cognizant of business priorities, personnel, and company practices.

  • Other responsibilities as needed.

  • Over-time may be required upon request

    Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 4+ years of administrative experience

  • Experience in travel planning, and meeting/calendar coordination.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

    Nice to Have:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Medtronic experience

  • Budget tracking experience

  • Experience interacting with the Field and Physicians

  • Project Management
