Reporting to the business director/manager of MITG in Mexico, this position is responsible for developing and executing all activities related to the Marketing Operations of MITG in Mexico.

Marketing Ops is a shared services department that serves all internal and external customers of the MITG business by developing and implementing marketing initiatives through new product introduction plans, development of product and sales communication materials, besides building up Integrated Marketing Campaigns which will generate new business opportunities.


  • Increase demand for MITG´s priority products through the development of product communication materials (collaterals) and campaigns.
  • Lead and execute new product introduction plans in Mexico, collaborating internally with MITG´s business lines, both Surgical Solutions and PMR, as well as Medtronic's Communication teams.
  • Lead and execute Integrated Marketing Campaigns and other digital campaigns targeting to external customers - from campaign development to results tracking.
  • Launch and maintain website for MITG in Mexico, counting with strong support and guidance from regional and global marketing operations teams.
  • Execute a continuous communication program with MITG´s distributors, providing distributors' field team the latest information on MITG technologies as well as keeping them informed on current marketing campaigns/commercial updates.
  • Coordinate and execute sales conventions and other internal meetings within MITG.
  • Manage MITG Advertising&Promotion budget, working closely with MITG business director, identifying best opportunities for investments, guaranteeing that budget optimization as well as creating metrics per investment.
  • Serve as the focal point for MITG with the Communications team at country level, proving all product materials that will be promoted at Medical Congresses.
  • Develop and manage execution of a yearly plan, to be approved by Business Director, with all activities that should be executed during that period.
  • Collaborate with regional team on regional initiatives and provide Mexico´s feedback on them - for instance, MITG Latam Newsletter.

    • Bachelor's in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field

    • At least 2 years' experience with marketing and communications
    • Prior experience in pharma/medical devices, or healthcare marketing and communications

    • Good understanding and experience in market communications, especially in terms of collaterals development.
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Ability to develop copy, creative and other marketing collateral
    • Ability to plan, organize, execute and monitor marketing projects
    • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for innovative solutions and customer success
