Position Summary

Responsible for specific technical activity and completion of assigned tasks on time and budget related to the facility including design, construction, and maintenance projects.

Basic Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge
  • US Citizenship required

Desired Skills

  • Semiconductor related facilities experience
  • Experience in working with production operations with non-trivial environmental concerns
  • Autocad 2D drawing experience
  • Strong background with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for specific technical activity and completion of assigned tasks on time and budget related to the facility including design, construction, and maintenance projects
  • Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments 
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision of others
  • Champion projects of small to medium size and complexity
  • Regular reporting of progress and status
  • Completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements
  • Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction develops designs to best support them, including cost, schedule, and quality as  key design variables
  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for assignments
  • Troubleshoot Facility equipment
  • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Light lifting as required (<20 lbs).
