We have a long-term opportunity for a reliable self-starter who is able to work independently, has initiative and takes pride in their work.

This vacancy is one that is available for an immediate start.

The selected individual will begin on a contract basis, with the opportunity to move into a direct role with PEAK Technical Staffing.

Our company has a fast-paced environment so multi-tasking is often needed.
Stellar communication skills are key for success in this role.

In working for our staffing company, the initial job duties of this position will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and distributing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Updating resumes in MS Word as instructed by the production team.
  • Assisting Administrative Assistant as needed with filing, organizing timecards, and calling to obtain employee timecards.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed and as the selected individual becomes familiar with company processes.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have exceptional communication/grammar skills.
  • Must be able to type accurately 55+ words per minute.
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills.
  • Pleasant and friendly phone presence.
  • Associates Degree preferred or equal relevant experience.
  • At least two (2) years of clerical work experience, which preferably involved timekeeping or payroll in some capacity.
  • Ability to work well with others, and to assist internal and external customers cooperatively and courteously.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instruction, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records and to make reports requiring accuracy.
  • The ability to be flexible and to multi-task, and have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
