The Quality Assurance Administrator manages the document systems of the Quality Assurance department and develops/maintains systems to analyze data to support initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain internal Quality System.
  • Administrative operation of the Corrective Action System.
  • Analysis of customer and regulatory requirements to assess their effect on the internal Quality System.
  • Support of customer and agency audits.
  • Qualification of personnel performing special processes.
  • Quality Assurance input within the Approved Supplier Program.
  • Quality Assurance record retention.

To perform this job, the Quality Assurance Administrator must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:

  • Knowledge of Quality System requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 requirements with some knowledge of aerospace requirements (AS9100, D1-9000, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of computers including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Basic business writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, make presentations and write concise reports for all levels of employees.

  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

 Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years quality related experience; or Associates degree with 4 years of quality related experience; or a minimum of 5 years of quality related experience.
