Job Title:  Clinical Records Technician 

Position Description

  • Process and review clinical records for identification, indexing, and applied metadata record quality (i.e. number of pages and legibility)
  • Provide clinical study records administrative support
  • Manage record-related information in a variety of records management databases
  • Support the management of Paper Records Room

Position Responsibilities

  • Process records in alignment with established CRM processes and procedures per set productivity quotas and timelines
  • Prepare shipment and retrieval of paper clinical records to/from offsite storage
  • Work with third party offsite storage facilities in the archival of clinical records per processes/ procedures
  • Support CRM and records stakeholders in the use of CRM systems, equipment, and facilities
  • Perform retrieval, reproduction, and re-filing of records in addition to fulfill other records related management requests
  • Support CRM related activities in the support of company audits and inspections

Position Requirements

  • 2 plus years of experience in a records management position
  • Basic understanding of the clinical trial process is preferred
  • Basic understanding of records management database programs
  • BA/ BS preferred
