Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a creative, production driven, out of the box thinker that has a proven track record of recruiting top candidates in a high tech environment. You will help source and qualify top talent for positions across the organization.
- Identify the best online sourcing channels for different candidate segments
- Ability to leverage the latest technologies to locate, engage, and attract prospective candidates.
- Identify the top-performing passive employees at our top competitors and leverage our strategic value proposition to gain interest.
- Proactively cold call passive candidates and articulate Tektronix History and Culture to create a compelling story and gain candidate interest.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates under active consideration by providing timely, accurate, relevant feedback to internal & external candidates.
- Conduct in-depth phone interviews to assess applicant/candidate quality, skills, and fit to identify the best candidate for a position.
- Maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a focus on sourcing passive candidates.
- Experience recruiting for a high tech company or staffing agency is preferred.
- Capacity to anticipate future talent needs of the organization and build a steady stream of prospective talent.
- Deep knowledge of the labor market(s) and talent pools.
- Strong problem solving abilities and consensus building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload based on business needs.
- Strong functionality of Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo is a plus).
- Superior telephone and interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency in cold-calling.
- Ability to work independently and in team environment, with a commitment to collaborative work and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to interface well with candidates and employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated recruiting experience across multiple verticals with an emphasis on recruiting talent in Engineering, Operations, Sales and Service, etc.
