AV System Support /Network Support TEMP-bilingual Chinese

 Seeking an AV onsite technician to support the company’s growing
AV needs. The additional AV support technician will support and assist the primary onsite technician with the company’s high-end video systems. 
The individual is required to be highly organized and efficient with the ability to assist with AV integration projects (Outlook Exchange Scheduler), provide proactive maintenance, handle
conference room meeting deadlines, support events as well as troubleshoot and maintain AV conference rooms.
This consultant role requires the flexibility of being able to attend events and functions out-of- hours when necessary.
Primary Role and Scope:
 Execute, support and troubleshoot on all major AV systems and components.
 Take charge of the video conference number assignment and record after received the requests from helpdesk.
 Support and maintain the MCU system, including the software upgrade and daily configuration if need.
 Provide support to set up a video conference with MCU or just through IP address, and also help user to troubleshoot and resolve the issue on video conference, and make some adjustment if the user need,  such as changing the layout or display.
 Provide Event support and set-up in coordination with primary AV tech.
 Participate in event discussions and planning with event coordinator.
 Provide client input in both technical and business terms.
 Provide troubleshooting in crisis situations for users.
 Assist and work with EO department on implementation of hardware and software integration (Outlook Integration, Crestron Asset Management) to streamline support.
 Provide backup support services in the absence of primary AV Support Technician.
 Create end user and internal AV team documentation, monthly reports.
 Work closely with EO department and AV support to ensure new conference room buildouts are planned and completed.
 Assist with maintaining all signal flow diagrams, conference room code programs etc…
 Knowledgeable in AV system support including, day-to- day operations, installation, and configuration of projectors, audio amplifiers, AV matrix routers, control systems, video walls and touch panels.
 Ability to independently plan and organize work, manage priorities, and utilize available resources to complete quality work within allotted timeframe.
 Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely demanding environment.
 Acts as a liaison between internal clients, EO and ADC on AV support

Additional task:
Handle IDF and workstation phone cabling on various systems

 Assist in the provisioning of data and voice circuits and services


Bilingual Chinese, computer science major related and  bachelor’s degree above, one year related work experience or above preferred.
