A growing trial boutique law firm in New York is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager. This position will oversee attorney performance reviews and CLE training, attorney and staff recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and assistance in the opening of a new office in California. Light travel (quarterly) may be required.

The successful  candidate will  be responsible for monitoring and managing day to day operations of the office,  handling and resolving any employee relation issues and enforcing all firm policies and procedures.

The Human Resources Manager role offers global firm pay and benefits in a small firm feel. The firm pays for 100% of medical premium coverage, provides flexible schedules, " Frunch" Fridays (free lunch on Fridays), and is not hierarchical. Non-attorneys are bonus eligible, firm  matches 401k  and offers a casual workplace where all employees are treated with respect.

Required experience:

MUST be a seasoned HR professional with experience in benefits administration, employee management, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure that all employee-related policies align with firm goals, experience with employment laws, laws against sexual harassment and discrimination, human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, FMLA, performance evaluations and more.
