Our client is looking for Industrial Electricians. In this position you will install, troubleshoot and repair high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems, sensors, AC/DC motors, starters and drives, and PLC hardware and programming. You will also need to have basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge. They will have an outlined training program in place, starting with a safety training program, as safety is something they take very seriously, most training will be on-the-job, but they need candidates with a strong electrical base. Candidates must have knowledge of OHM's Law and Kirchoff's current/voltage laws, basic discussion of solid state devices, and so. The client needs future leaders who are independent thinkers, with well-developed leadership skills, and a collaborative, team orientated mindset. A great attitude and great aptitude toward learning an exciting manufacturing process and the will to improve every day, is a plus! Rotating shifts that vary depending on which part of mill you are hired for. Your electrical skills are as important as is fitting in to the culture. A culture that rewards teamwork, hard work, integrity and communication skills with outstanding pay based on production bonuses. You must be open to shift work, they work the Dupont shift. The DuPont 12-hour rotating shift schedule uses 4 teams (crews) and 2 twelve-hour shifts to provide 24/7 coverage. It consists of a 4-week cycle where each team works 4 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off duty, works 3 consecutive day shifts, followed by 1 day off duty, works 3 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off duty, work 4 consecutive day shift, then have 7 consecutive days off duty. Personnel work an average 42 hours per week.
