Kavaliro is partnering with a Sonoma County organization who is looking for a Payroll/HR Specialist. This individual will be working closely with Human Resources along with all department managers to ensure all employees are paid with 100% accuracy. They will also assist with coordinating all aspects of payroll including not limited to new hires, terminations, employee compensation, hours worked, benefits, miscellaneous payroll deductions, etc. They will work with the timekeeping system in place to ensure accuracy in time reported as well as assist with the maintenance of the Human Resource and Payroll software; working with third party vendors. Must be able to address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and supervisors by phone and email. Will be responsible for preparing reports for upper management.
o Outstanding organizational skills a must. Professional, outgoing and perseverance necessary for the numerous on-going tasks.
o Knowledge of third party payroll processing software preferred.
o Knowledge of California and Federal payroll laws, rules and regulations preferred.
o At least 2-3 years administrative experience with an emphasis in payroll.
o Microsoft Excel/Word skill required
Pay depending on experience level.
