Help Desk Specialist opening with our client.
Pay Rate: 17.50/hr
The Help Desk Analyst assists customers with support for proprietary software, Microsoft Windows operating system software, computer hardware, computer peripherals and basic computer networking.
- Provide phone coverage for high volume calls from customers with issues regarding proprietary software, windows, hardware and peripherals
- Escalate issues to next level of support when required
- Maintain, create and improve knowledge base data for essential business technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management Information or Computer Science is preferred; or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Certification for Windows 10 Operating System
- CompTIA A+ and, or, Network+ desired
- 2-4 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Experience providing telephone-based customer service
- Working knowledge of computers, operating systems and computer networking support
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when required
