Warehouse Associate

Summary: The Warehouse Staff is responsible for the day to day warehouse activities such as pulling, stocking, inventory, maintain warehouse facility, bar coding customer boxes or items, delivering or picking up boxes and items to customer sites. This is in order to provide record storage services to new and existing customers. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below, but not limited to, are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Pull and stock customer’s boxes or items

Scan and bar code incoming boxes and items

Operate a PC for reviewing documents

Process work orders

Handle rush deliveries

Sell and educate existing and potential new customers on services

Work with office staff to process required paperwork

Deal with customer problems and issues

Promotes Mission Vision Statement

Continuously promotes compliance with company policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.

Professionalism Must wear clean company uniform at all times and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Ex; Driving in a professional manner, courtesy to team members and customers, respectful, and etc.

Interpersonal Skills – Advocate for the company, focuses on conflict resolution, maintains confidentiality; listens to others without interrupting; keeps emotions under control; remains open to others' ideas, recommends new processes or procedures to supervisor/manager or management; must have good people skills.

Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; ability to work independently or in a team environment, actively participates in training programs, exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; supports everyone's efforts to succeed.

Leadership – Ability to acquire leadership qualities; willingness and the ability to learn, ability to inspire and motivate other team members to perform well; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others.

Education and/or Experience: High School, or equivalent combination of education and training, 1 year related experience preferred.

Language Skills: Basic reading and writing skills. Good oral and written communication skills.

Mathematical Skills: Basic math, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve every day basic work problems.

Computer Skills: Basic understanding of a PC.

Certificates and Licenses: Must have a valid and maintain a California driver's license.

Pay Rate depends upon experience, but monthly bonuses are available for quality work and productivity.
