They employ more than 140,000 skilled hard working people throughout the U.S. currently.They are looking for an Account Manager and/or Biomedical Site Lead or Manager for an in-house position at a very prestigious healthcare system in Boston, MA.This individual will also be required to have some knowledge and service experience on Sterilizers (Steris, Getinge, Belimed, Ranger or Continental or others); and OR Lights and Surgical Tables. Although this is a Manager position, this individual should not be afraid to jump in and assist with servicing the equipment when needed.Qualified candidates must have:- AAS or BS Degree in BET, EET, ET, Management, or in a related field.- No less than 5 years experience managing a biomedical equipment program.- Knowledge and hands-on experience servicing to include safety inspections, preventive maintenance testing and repairs of mid-to-high level medical equipment, preferably Sterilizers, OR Lights, OR Tables.- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic or electrical theory.- Good understanding of physiology and regulatory standards and a working knowledge of Company policies, regarding account management, supervision and accountability.- Supervisory/management experience.- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.Responsibilities:- Managing equipment recalls; evaluating equipment for service contracts; maintaining an accurate inventory database for medical equipment; managing and approving outside service, repairs, and/or parts purchases; and be involved in the procurement of medical equipment.- Implementing and monitoring goals for improvement, work with annual reviews and skills assessments (if applicable); evaluating equipment for service contracts; and maintaining and reviewing Medical Equipment Management Plan.- Servicing, when needed, Sterilizers, OR Lights and Surgical Tables.- Review historical data entered into the TMS medical equipment database.- Compliance with Joint Commission standards.- Follow safe practices relating to infection control, hazardous materials, and mechanical loads and industry compliance standards.- Communicating and interacting with hospital personnel, department managers, end users, customer management, and C-Suite executives.- Training/Educating staff and promoting a positive work environment..Our client is offering a very good salary plus an excellent full benefits package which includes health, vision and dental, relocation assistance, if necessary, for the right individual, plus much more.Please Note: All candidates must be residing in the U.S. to be considered for this opportunity.
