If you are looking to join a high-performance organization focused on achieving a sustainable future, apply today!                             POSITION DESCRIPTION TEC is seeking to fill a Project Manager (PM) position to support Energy Programs with a focus on the implementation of the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN) Project Delivery Program. TEC is interested in candidates with experience in client relationship management and either identification or implementation of energy efficiency projects. The PM will manage agency relationships and coordinate with consultants to provide technical support to agencies throughout the project delivery process from identification through implementation. The PM must be able to manage resources, manage subcontractor scopes and budgets, provide technical oversight for client deliverables, and serve as a liaison for TEC with program stakeholders and clients. The PM will perform engagement and outreach activities which may include new agency lead generation and enrollments, ongoing regional partnership development, re-engagement strategies, marketing and networking activities, and educational offerings aimed at attracting, engaging and retaining agencies in the SoCalREN Programs. This position may also provide support to other energy programs to promote cross-collaboration among programs. The PM will not initially be tasked with supervisory responsibilities; however, that may change as business needs evolve.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage energy efficiency projects from identification to completion for public agencies Plan, coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to agreed specifications and deadlines, within budget Review project proposals or work plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, subcontractor support needs Serve as the main point of contact for enrolled public agencies and deliver program services Develop and secure commitment forms and communicate program expectations to meet mutually agreeable goals, timelines, and objectives with enrolled agencies Maintain positive working relationships with program stakeholders and partners Keep up to date with utility rebates and incentives and relevant utility program processes Oversee work by energy consulting engineers; reviewing and approving budgets, deliverables and directing technical assistance work for public sector agencies Analyze energy data, interpret audit reports, perform financial feasibility analyses, evaluate utility program and financing options, develop strategies for project implementation, and present plan options to public agencies Assess project viability based on agency needs, available agency and program resources and manage client expectations Work with Project Coordinators to complete utility incentive applications and project proposals Present program offerings and project successes at engagement meetings, conferences, events and to internal staff Facilitate regular partner meetings Coordinate with consultants to provide technical support to program participants Identify problems before they arise and propose recommended action plans Prepare and present status reports and keep supervisors and team members informed of roadblocks to project success Handle and train staff on program lead responsibilities to continuously improve the program(s), as assigned Participate in strategic thinking exercises with Program Manager level staff Be responsible for accuracy for all SalesForce records for assigned agencies Report and analyze program progress using project tracking templates and databases Recognize potential business/ program synergies across TEC and support other programs and TEC initiatives, as assigned Follow established program protocols while coordinating new agency engagement activities Develop and deliver presentations to potential new agencies interested in program enrollment Conduct research and analyses on potential new agencies to establish energy efficiency project viability Develop and maintain partnership networks within targeted areas Identify and act on enrollment leads Lead enrollment and engagement process from identification through agency assignment Work with Program Manager to design and implement outreach strategies that reflect program priorities Deliver program overviews via conference calls and presentations during in-person meetings Develop knowledge around hard-to-reach, disadvantaged communities (DAC) and other qualifiers Design and deliver dynamic presentations, webinars, lunch and learns and other facilitation activities, as assigned Serve as a company-wide resource and representative for TEC
QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent Minimum of three years of relevant work experience Experience with overseeing scopes and budgets of consultants or contract preferred Relevant industry certifications or advanced degrees in related field preferred Ability to follow established processes and adapt in real-time in response to changing environments by practicing good judgment   Strong problem-solving skills required to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner demonstrated by gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing alternative solutions, working well in group problem-solving situations Ability to synthesize large volumes of diverse information in order to make recommendations and decisions Strong project management skills - Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; Ability to complete assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; Attention to detail and follow-through in tasks that meet contract deliverables; demonstrated experience coordinating and facilitating projects among a variety of stakeholders with often conflicting priorities Possess strong time and priority management skills and understands how to balance the position’s priorities with the organization’s Experience with managing stakeholders and maintaining client relationships and does not hesitate to execute multiple strategies to obtain stakeholder “buy-in” Excellent oral and written communications skills. Proficient in English (verbal and written) Valid driver’s license, insurance, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Southern California to attend meetings and events. This position may occasionally require work outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends Have an active cell phone plan service
