FRAME is looking for a Senior Technical Designer to join our Downtown Los Angeles team!

Role Overview:Reporting to the Pre-Production Manager, the Senior Technical Designer will assist the Production and Design teams in the fit and construction from initial concept through to commercialization and production for all assigned styles. Responsibilities:Calendar AdherenceTrack and manage workflow and workload for own product and ensure product areas are maintained with the cross-functional team; gather information and update all reports as necessary.Notify manager immediately of any pending tracking issues.
Fit CommentsMatch bill of material with sketch and garment construction information.Complete all Tech Packages in Full Circle (this includes technical specs and construction).Complete all fit comments in a timely manner.Provide complete and articulate fit comments (includes any needed point of measures, sketches and/or digitals).Email and clarify fit comments to overseas partners.
FittingsLead fit session on model or dress form and take the initiative of the specific product(s).Collaborate with designer, merchandiser, manager and business partners to ensure the desired product is achieved while retaining production schedule.Organize and store all samples seasonally.Ensure size and fit consistency across product categories.Effectively communicate fit intent, balance, and construction to vendors via pattern, sketches and/or digital images.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve daily.Collaborative team player.Exceptional organizational skills required. Ability to proactively self prioritize workflow based on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Meets and strives to increase productivity standards; looks for ways to improve and promote quality.Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Skills & Qualifications:Ability to determine and communicate fit corrections.Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods.Mastery of Adobe Illustrator and sketching.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Minimum of Associates degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, Patternmaking
