We have an immediate opening for a full-time technology operations manager This position will work directly with one of our largest customers to oversee day-to-day IT operations.
Technology Operations Manager
Responsible for day-to-day leadership & operations of the technology department (10 employees and contractors). Interfaces with Client C-Level leadership, providing technology guidance and operational reports. Responsible for overseeing and managing information technology projects. Coordinates project phases from development to installation. Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants. This position reports to the CTO.
Primary responsibilities Manage technology portfolio of work. Lead and manage a team of technicians, engineers, and analysts. Ensure work efforts are completed within budget and on time. Provide operational reporting to leadership. Manage multiple vendors and service support contracts. Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the corporation's assets. Develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms.
Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. Proven working experience leading technology teams within an SAP Environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Be technically proficient/knowledgeable in SAP, VMWare, Citrix, and Windows environments. ITIL experience or certification is a big plus.
