As a growing company, we all wear many hats, and we pitch in to help each other ensure that our customers are cared for and our work gets done. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.  Join a condition monitoring solutions company focused on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) as a Territory Sales Manager (TSM). A TSM drives monthly, quarterly and annual sales for the company through managing existing accounts and prospecting new business leads. Our sales team members are self-starters with a desire to assist customers in solving their problems with SEC of America's solutions. The TSM is responsible for direct business-to-business sales and presents to all levels of influencers (C Suite to purchasing) and must be able to tailor communication and presentation approaches depending on the audience. The TSM requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Frequent travel will be required. Phone skills and computer literacy are vital for this position.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing marketsMake the utmost efforts in trying to achieve annual salestargets set forthClearly understand the Company’s financial goals and develop and implement an overall sales and marketing strategy plan that includes action plan that define objectives, goals, schedules and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities. Develop and execute action plan to support the Sales and Marketing plan, and review monthly.Attend and participate in industries’ key exhibitions to maximize exposure and manage ROI outcome.Implement KPI to improve Sales process efficiency and cost management.Manage the Company’s existing digital marketing tools coordinating with marketing consultant.Manage and maintain data base of the Company’s CRM and Marketing tool ACT!Support Development team by providing market information and feedback such as competitive analysis and current market technical requirements.Oversee and verify reporting of sales and marketing activities including leads generated, tracking open quotes, sales by products, and other appropriate reports to measure achievements.Submit to Headquarters the monthly report package in timely mannerManage Sales & Marketing and Sales Support Engineer team members. Management of North and Latin America representatives through communication to help their sales activity, training and etc.Communication and coordination with Shinkawa Electric Co’s Sales and Marketing counterpart throughout globe.Plan, manage and participate in customer relationship development, retention and improvement activities to maximize the existing business and opportunities, and minimize threats.Stay on top of market and industry trend, competitor and customer activities and direction, and share and provide feedback to headquarters and the management team on regular basis.Lead, direct, support and manage sales team to maximize each member’s ability, efficiency and effectiveness to attain individual goals for the achievement of the team goals set forth in the Sales and Marketing Plan, Budget and Action Plan.Actively solicit business opportunities together with sales team, present and offer solutions and produce and submit quotes.Take an ownership of further enhance strategic relationship with OEM customers at all level of contacts. This includes contract reviews and negotiations, visiting and/or conducting meetings for our service delivery improvements, customer satisfaction on products and services, and other area identified as critical.Be the hunter for business opportunities and not the order taker waiting for the opportunity to be presented.Demonstrate leadership in professional and positive manner and work in harmony with all members within the Company, group subsidiaries and Shinkawa Electric Co..Be transparent with activities and communications to minimize conflict and misunderstanding that may create distraction and become obstruction to achieving goals.Organize and prioritize business growth strategy and actions for both short-term and long-term goals. 
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EngineeringExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus of the jobOrganized and possess a high level of administration ability10+ years of previous industrial sensor sales experience preferred10+ years of industry experienceHave a proven rack record of successful sales achievementsAbility to effectively manage and direct sales teamIntegrity, honesty and punctuality are expectedHighly driven with an execution focus and strong sense of urgencyMust be able to work in Durham, NC
Tools KnowledgeMust be proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Knowledge of CRMs is useful (ACT! knowledge a plus)
