ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGeographical coverage: Los Angeles, CA - focus on South Bay and Western Los Angeles County (must be located / cover Los Angeles area)Position is Outside Sales; Company is a Manufacturer Sales Rep in the foodservice industryArea expert for equipment, supplies, and tabletop sales in regional foodservice segments: Chains, Restaurants, Healthcare, K-12 Schools, College & Universities, Military & Corrections and Catering & HospitalityResponsible to drive regional sales, targets and plans to meet manufacturer & The Fischer Group sales goalsMentor and support the regional Account Managers and Customer Success teamBrand leader for all MVP products with the support of new promotional materials and samplesLead presentations with new and existing customers: present, demonstrate & review potential new products and opportunities from our represented manufacturersAttend and participate in trade shows and customer sales meetingsResponsible for all regional lead implementationUpdate and maintain regional accounts of customers, opportunities, and targets through SalesForceMaintain professionalism, diplomacy, and tact to portray the company and the manufacturers we represent in a positive mannerDaily travel within the territory with occasional customer visits outside of the local regionCompensation includes base salary and annual bonus, car allowance, mobile phone and tablet computer, participation in Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and 401K
SKILLSExperience in the foodservice or culinary industry, while not required, is strongly preferredGood people skills to deal with customers and an enthusiastic personalityCompetent with food safety and a passion for culinary excellenceKnowledge expert of the foodservice industry and path to market (i.e. distribution/dealer network)Self-Motivated, effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skillsAble to prospect and upgrade relationships resulting in new businessStrong verbal & written communication skills by utilizing the Microsoft Office products & social media
Education & Training: BS/BA in business, sales, food, culinary or hospitality with 7-10 years of experience in the foodservice industry preferred
