The Nurse manager will manage the daily operational aspects of assigned areas of Radiology and GI Procedures (Radiology Nursing, GI Procedures, and Radiology Prep/Recovery) to ensure continuous, timely and quality service. Determines and provides or directs provision of patient related clinical care including related staff clinical education, simulations, and other educational activities. To proactively support the efforts that ensures delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's. Collaborate with Radiology and GI Procedures Director, Clinical Directors for Radiology and GI, Physicians and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within the unit on a 24/7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children’s Hospital. Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.


Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in another field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in related clinical or management area (e.g.MBA, MHA, Science in Nursing (MSN)
