SPEC (Systems & Processes Engineering Corporation) has an immediate opening for a Sr. RF Systems Engineer, who will be responsible for detailed product RF design at our Austin, Texas location. The successful candidate will be responsible for innovative detailed design, test and integration of embedded RF systems, products and solutions. Detailed knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art RF circuit design; transceiver design; antenna design; and integration for mobile and airborne systems, ranging from modern communications to millimeter wave. Must have in-depth knowledge of RF system design for modern communications and radar systems.Must have RF circuit design experience and expertise in the integration of RF components. Projects involve the modeling and simulation of RF circuits and antenna systems, detailed design and test of RF systems, up/down convertors, ADC/DACs, RF filters, frequency synthesizers, modulators, mixers, and power amplifier circuits.Must have experience working in an interactive, product team environment. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative solutions to challenging RF engineering problems. Qualifications:Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five (5) years of specific experience in design of RF circuits and systems. Hands on experience with RF circuit design including schematic design, layout, lab prototyping, integration, testing, and debugging. Must be skilled in the use of RF test equipment, RF design tools, and simulation tools. Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance.
