Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily management of building construction activities; interiors, exteriors, building envelope, masonry and roofing.Construction sites are located throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City.
  • Main office is located in lower Manhattan.
  • Perform site inspections and prepare reports on construction progress.
  • Prepare detailed reports for each project.
  • Supervise a team of project engineers and prepare reports for each portion of the building project (interior walls, exterior curtain walls, roofing, etc).
  • Reconcile and resolve all problems/issues that may arise on site.
  • Assist in change order negotiations.
  • Attend required project and staff meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, is required.
  • Experience with public agencies: NYCHA, SCA, DDC, is required.
  • Experience with exterior envelope (masonry, roofing, etc.) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project engineering/management, on large-scale public projects, is preferred.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
