The selected candidate will work with collaborative team of highly experienced IT professionals providing services and simulation and training to customers in the government, health, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal candidate will be updating web documents via a content management system. They will work with PDF forms and developing cases in a proprietary tool.  

  • Research, Prepare and Edit technical documents for publications, including user’s manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals and reports
  • Reviews, researches, and edits information for preparation of contract deliverables.
  • Ensures documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
  • Interfaces with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter experts in coordinating/preparing the edited draft for publication.
  • Participates in the creation of proposals and multi-media presentation materials.
  • Participates in the design and development of marketing brochures, conference programs, public relations announcements, and other materials when requested.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of directly related computer programming experience. Experience with an integrated process, preferably CMMI.
  • 5 years' experience of working within a team setting of 5 or more.
  • Experience with Design Development.
  • 3 years' experience of Visual Studio.
  • 3 years' experience of Version Control/Configuration Management (preferably SVN).
  • At least 2 years' experience working with Front End Interfaces
  • Good communication skills, must be able to communicate at all levels of management

Required Skills:

  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of editing and preparing  technical documentation
  • Must have at least 2 – 5 years of related industry experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a English, Journalism or related technical discipline

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Must be able to pass an extensive 7 year background and credit check
