The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service for internal in multiple departments by using excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and processes as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.

 

Essential Duties

? Sales order entry

? Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests

? Ensure orders on credit are reviewed and released in a timely manner

? Work with the Shipping department to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and, in accordance to requested shipping method

? Work with the Purchasing and Inventory Control departments to ensure orders are placed with vendors for out-of-stock items. Update order lead times

? Create and update part numbers and pricing in ERP system

? Ensure each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes

? Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner

? Open service orders for new/used/rental units prior to shipping

? Perform warehouse transfers

? Process credit memos

? Provide order status to customers via phone or email

 

Qualifications

Core Competencies

? High School Diploma

? A minimum of 2-4 years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities

? Excellent communication both verbally and in writing

? Attention to detail

? Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry)

? Prior experience utilizing an ERP system

 

Physical Demands

? Sedentary Work - sitting for long periods of time

? Repetitive Motion - typing, phone dialing

? Pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching
