Job Description: Revenue/Fund Developer – Part Time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Director and Board of Directors in establishing target revenue development goalsStrategize how marketing materials, website, social media, and events complement the revenue plan
  • Maintain donor database (including donor information, donation history, and communications) to be shared with the Executive Director and Revenue Development Committee
  • Identify and prioritize qualified prospects
  • Successfully articulate the mission of Women’s League Child Development Center when applying for grants
  • Meet quarterly with the Executive Director and the Revenue Development Committee to calibrate revenue development goals and objectives
  • Measure progress to established revenue development goals
  • Generate monthly reports to provide to the Executive Director and Revenue Development Committee
  • Update the Board of Directors and provide coaching for prospect visits a needed
  • Gather metrics and reporting to satisfy grant reporting requirements
  • Develop strategies to broaden revenue development sources
  • Create and maintain a calendar of grant submission and reporting deadlines
  • Maintain ongoing contact and professional relationships with current and potential foundations and individual donors
  • Ensure donations are accurately accounted for
  • Design fund development materials and dialogue guide
  • Create and maintain consistent print and e-mail communication standards
  • Create, format, and distribute quarterly newsletter
  • Design marketing materials to support revenue development campaigns (including annual appeal letters, donation thank you cards/receipts, social media posts, emails, etc.)

Qualifications:

·        Minimum of Associates Degree

·        Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

·        Ability to deliver engaging presentations to potential donors

·        Demonstrate ability to write successful grant proposals

·        Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications

·        Excellent interpersonal skills

·        Ability to deliver new business relationships and network in the community

·        Comfort in asking potential donors for money

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher)

·        Proficient in using social media for fundraising (including Facebook)

·        Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
