Come join us and help shape the future! WSP is currently initiating a search for a Water Resources Project Manager for our Los Angeles, CA office.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Project management on a variety of planning and design level water resources projects with good level of experience on drainage and stormwater quality planning and design.
  • Ability to manage projects in the City and County of Los Angeles County.
  • Oversee and perform hydrologic and hydraulic studies and design using hydrologic and hydraulic software
  • Design experience in water pipelines, pump stations, sewer lifting station, water and sewer modeling capabilities and sewer collection system design.
  • Oversee and prepare contract documents including reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Water Resources / Environmental Engineering or a closely related field
  • 10+ years water resources experience; project management experience
  • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional Engineer in the state of California
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Familiarity with City and County of Los Angeles design standards and procedures
  • Background in water resources with experience in drainage and stormwater quality planning and design
