IT Support Specialist

 As an Information Technology (IT) specialist you are the single point of contact for members in need of support for IT questions, online trouble shooting, and access requests. This is a member service centric role that supports a wide range of software and MS O365 which is constantly changing. The ideal candidate will have prior troubleshooting experience with SharePoint, MS O365 products, and Active Directory with the ability to learn and support new products.
 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and websiteama
  • Respond to issues via email
  • Provide technical training to end users
  • Create user ID’s, groups and access in MS O365 suite and SharePoint Administration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint, MS O365, and Windows Azure AD issues
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge base and FAQ’s for members and board of directors
  • Support and contribute to special projects as needed
  • Demonstrate initiate and find ways to improve our environment
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Strong technical knowledge of MS O365 products like Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding customer HelpDesk skills
  • Able to work with non-technical individuals
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work independently with great attention to detail
  • Be accountable and reliable on all tasks assigned
  • Proficient in English

Qualifications
Successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Certificate or associate degree in a technical field preferred but not required: working towards a bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience working in a computer support setting
  • O365 email setup, distribution list cleanup, SP folder and navigation paths
  • Create user id’s, groups and access in MS O365 suite and SharePoint Administration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint, MS O365, and Windows Azure AD issues
  • Experience working in a Windows environment
  • Experience with and particularly around email and use of MS Office365 Suite.
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS systems
  • A+, Network+, Security+, CCENT, MCSA, or other technical certifications
